How counting works
Views are counted in the viewer’s browser when the page actually loads. This means counts stay accurate even though pages are cached for speed, repeat opens are captured, and bots / link-preview crawlers (which don’t run scripts) are excluded. Your own views as the owner aren’t counted.“5 views, 1 unique visitor” means one person opened the page five times.
