# Know who's viewed your page

> See how many people opened your page, when, on what — and exactly who, when you need it.

Every Shareable page tracks views. *How much* you learn about a viewer depends on
**how you shared it** — so this recipe covers both "how many" and "who, by name."

## How many opened it (always available)

Open a page and click **Analytics** (the chart icon), or **View analytics** from a
tile's menu. You'll see:

* **Total views** and **unique visitors**
* A **30-day trend**
* **Devices** (desktop / mobile / tablet) and **locations** (countries)

The tile in your dashboard also shows a quick view count.

<Tip>
  **Reading it:** "5 views, 1 unique visitor" means one person opened it five times.
  Counts are accurate even with caching, repeat opens are captured, bots are
  excluded, and your own views as the owner don't count.

## Who viewed it, by name

To see **identities**, the viewer has to verify an email — so choose a
[sharing mode](/guides/sharing-and-access) that asks for one:

    Semi-public: anyone can open it, but **everyone enters + confirms an email first**
    — so you capture every viewer (optionally business-email-only). Great for a deck
    people forward around.

With either, the Analytics panel's **Known viewers** list shows each email, their
view count, and when they last opened it.

<Note>
  **Link**, **password**, and **private** pages stay anonymous — you'll see counts,
  devices, and locations, but not names. If knowing *who* matters, share via
  **Specific people** or **Anyone with a verified email**.

## Get told the moment it's opened

Don't want to keep checking? In the **Share** dialog, turn on **Email me when
viewed**. You'll get an email when someone opens the page (at most one per hour per
page). Pair it with a verified-email share and the notification tells you *who*.
